  I was suffering from sciatica in one leg for two weeks and getting worse every day with a pain level of 10. I finally decided I needed help and got an appointment with Mount Dora Physical Therapy Specialists in Mount Dora, FL. After David gave me an evaluation and decided I needed to see Tammy on the next visit. After the first visit with Tammy, I was amazed at the improvement after she worked on me for an hour. I made further appointments with Tammy Affatato and had dramatic improvements with every visit. She is an outstanding physical therapist. I had a ski trip planned 6 weeks after my first Therapist visit and was hoping to be cured by then. It was a no-go until the last week before my planned trip. I went on my ski trip and had no problems. I can not praise Tammy enough on the work she did. I was amazed at how my improvements progressed. I would give her rating higher than a 5 star rating (fANTASTIC).

  Thank you to the staff but especially to Ana. I was treated with professionalism and empathy. Staff was welcoming. I could not have found a better place to be for therapy. Steve

  I can not imagine getting better physical therapy service in the Lake county area. The specialized attention each patient is afforded is off the charts. If you are not going here you are really shorting yourself.

  I just finished 4 weeks of sessions with the team here. I met with David on my first visit and Xenia on the next 7 sessions. I never thought I would be slightly sad about not having to go to PT anymore! Everyone was very knowledgeable and informative, while still maintaining excellent "bedside manner". There appears to be a very relaxed and friendly teamwork environment with the entire staff. Reception greeted me by name by my second visit. They are consistently on track with their scheduling. I never spent more than 5 minutes in the waiting room, even if I was ten minutes early. They were even understanding of me having to bring 2 (well-behaved) children with me.
  What really matters though, is how comfortable I am moving forward with my exercises on my own. While attending sessions there I was taught many stretches and exercises pertaining to my specific problems. I was informed of what I should and shouldn't do, both at home and at the gym. Xenia also helped me understand how to judge for myself when I'm ready to start pushing myself a little harder, when to rein it in, and how to care for myself if I ever push too hard.
  I am so thankful for this team!

  Outstanding in every way.
  Never having had physical therapy before, there were questions about the process, treatment, and overall quality of care.
  The personnel couldn’t be better or more qualified. The compassion and care is exemplary. Many thanks to Rachael for her care and treatment in rehabbing my total knee replacement. The sessions helped me tremendously with rehabbing my new knee.
  And thank you David for assembling such a stellar group of professionals.
  I couldn’t be happier with the care I received.
