  very friendly shop. they fixed my ac compressor and had it done in 1 day. everything is working great. they even helped me to get to work while they worked on my car.

  We have had Smitty’s work on our vehicle twice. The first time I had them fix my husband’s truck’s A/C for his birthday. They were awesome! They called me to tell me where they were at with things and the cost along the way. The second time my husband had a weird inconsistent shutter going on with his truck. They told me over the phone what it may be. We dropped off the truck and they worked hard to make sure we were able to pick the truck up by the end of the day since it is my husband’s only work truck. The problem was exactly what they thought and we had the truck by the end of the day. They even called me on a Saturday to make sure things were going okay with it still. THEY ARE AWESOME!! As a woman I hate when my husband asks me to coordinate our vehicle going to the shop because there is a tendency for me to get treated like I am an idiot. Smitty’s is not this way! I have never felt like they would rip us off. I would recommend them to anyone.

  I stopped into Smitty's Auto Repair without an appointment due to an increasing noise level in my front left tire well. Up on the lift and they swiftly discerned that it was loose lug nuts from having a previous dealership not lock down the tire properly when the tires were rotated. While there, they assessed a small repair which I booked and had my oil changed and fluid levels all checked and was out the door in about 45 minutes.....they are honest, extremely capable and earned my customer loyalty....love this shop and will tell anyone who needs a reliable place to get all their automotive needs taken care of!

  I can't express how grateful we are for Smitty. My daughter works for Disney in Orlando and called that her brakes were acting "weird". After she drove carefully home I knew that fluid was gone. She needed her car the next day. I didn't know who to call being new to Mount Dora. The google reviews were very good and his website was good too. I called early Saturday morning and he returned my call in 10 minutes and told me to come to his shop. I did, we talked, he found the leak and fixed her brake line THAT DAY. He is an honest and straightforward guy. I feel that he UNDER charged me for the brakes! But he also pointed out that her car, being from the north, has some significant rust and to be careful. I saw it and appreciated that heads up as well. I will be taking all my cars to him and highly recommend him. Good, honest mechanics are hard to find.
