Dr. Dermarkarian was very kind, caring and very knowledgeable and helpful. The lady at the checkout was amazing. My whole experience with all personnel was fabulous. I wish it was under different circumstances.
Very through and explains everything. He asks questions and REALLY listens to the patient. After a thorough exam he explains what he is thinking and then puts a plan together to gather more information from testing. After the tests are completed he schedules you for a return appointment to discuss next steps. Very understanding of the patient's perspective and has helped to allay some of the fear associated with these types of health issues.
Met with Dr D and reviewed the imaging reports and am now extremely confident about having this rather extensive surgery. He explained everything for my wife and I, answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns. This type of interaction with his patients goes along way to allay any fears about having the surgery.
Received the best care during my back surgery and recovery! Dr. Dermarkarian is very up front and thorough in explaining the process! A kind man and never makes you feel rushed. All the staff are great and physical therapy really does their job well. Can’t recommend this group enough. They are the greatest!
I injured my back. Dr. Dermarkarian surgery was exceptional. Everyone in Coastal was friendly but more importantly they did their jobs with professional expertise.
It’s been one year since Dr. Dermarkarian performed two major surgeries on my back to fuse my spine from T10 to the pelvic. My experience was just as he had explained and I am happy to report that I am doing very well and pain free. While my motion is somewhat limited , I am able to work in the yard , walk and lift much better than I expected. I highly recommend him for this type of procedure and would be willing to discuss this with anyone considering a similar operation.
