Coll Music

For context, I am a wedding planner and own Hakuna Matata Weddings and Events. I had the pleasure of working with Larry and his musicians on 4/9/2022. Before the date, he was very responsive to messages and was happy to help in any way. On the day of, they showed up early and checked in with me periodically through the day. Right before the ceremony started, the arch blew over backwards (very windy day). Larry and the DJ jumped into action and helped me upright the arch and they hunted down heavy bags to place on the bases and then I covered them with sand using a shovel from my emergency kit.

I tell you this story because often times vendors will just say "that's not my job", but they didn't. They helped me save the day, and I could not be more grateful. This is what you need to look for in your vendors. People who are not only talented, but ones that believe in teamwork because that is really what makes a wedding successful - Team work of the vendors.

Musically wise, the violinist for the ceremony was fantastic. Larry provided acoustic guitar for cocktail hour which was beautiful on the ears! The DJ played the perfect mix of music to have everyone dancing all nice and he was quick to pivot when our timeline was running a bit ahead of schedule to add a quick dance set in between salads and dinner.

They TRULY care about your wedding or event. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any of my upcoming clients. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Larry came to play at our beach wedding. He arrived with time to spare at a remote location. Our wedding was delayed, but thanks to Larry our guests were entertained with some smooth tunes during that time. The songs we requested before, during, and after the ceremony sounded great. We also used the wireless microphone, which made it easy for everyone to hear in the windy environment. The performance was above and beyond and we highly recommend Coll Music to anyone wanting live music at their event.

Coll Music was spectacular! We had a violinist and keyboard perform at cocktail hour for our wedding. Larry was very professional and easy to work with. He was quick to respond to emails and was accommodating when we needed to push our date back a year because of Covid. We sent over a few songs to give them a flavor for the type of music we liked, and every song they played at the wedding was amazing! Our guests all raved about the music and it was a very nice way to get the evening started. Would definitely recommend them if you need live music at an upcoming event!

Larry Coll and his musicians were absolutely incredible!! They were extremely friendly and were understanding and flexible when we had to postpone due to COVID, and with weather & transportation issues on the day of.

The musicians were fantastic. They played beautifully for several hours and were professional & kind. They played the pieces we requested for the wedding processional, and even made a string trio arrangement of a piece typically played by a piano, just because we requested it for the bride’s entrance. The arrangement was beautiful and truly made our day extra special.

We could not recommend Larry Coll and Coll Music LLC more. They made our wedding day even more special than we thought it would be and showed us so much respect, kindness, and understanding throughout the entire planning process and day of.

An absolute wonderful person to work with! I had a trio group to work with and it was amazing! They played music while guests were entering and waiting (prelude) and during the procession and recession. 10/10. On time, respectful, and of course talented.
