FINALLY! A delicious and authentic Mexican restaurant and supermarket. Coming from California and being married to a Mexican with high expectations, this place has never disappointed time and time again. Tried and true. Amazing.

La Morenita is a big space with only 10 tables so it looks a little empty. However, their kitchen is not empty. It has very good Mexican food. I had tripe soup, my friends had tacos and rice, fried beans and salad. I had never eaten there but I can vouch for what we ate. It was good. They had many choices. The place is clean. The server was pleasant and helpful. Three of us ate for $36. And most of the people there were locals.
It felt very Mexican with the Virgin and the piñatas. Nice! I will go back.

I found what I was looking for, my chiles to make a delicious salsa. I went next door in the same place and had a caldo de res or meat soup, Mexican style and very delicious

Food was delicious and service fantastic, tables are well placed for social distancing
