Wat Buddharangsi Buddhist Temple

Omg who knew this gem was located in homestead!!! It's absolutely beautiful the atmosphere is soo welcoming and peaceful. I didn't go into the temple because I wasn't appropriately dressed but I'll definitely be back to visit inside the temple

This temple is a reflection of peace and harmony. You may take time of your busy schedule a visit this beautiful temple. The outdoor asked for peace by shearing to its visitors. I could not visit the inside of the temple but another trip is on the future.

Coming to temple and being received with such open arms really helped me guide myself through tough times; I hold close good memories & formative moments from the times I have spent here.

I really miss coming to this place and I look forward to whenever the time is right for them to reopen to the public.

This is a beautiful place, south of Miami in the Redlands, near Homestead. Once a year, the temple hosts a Thai New Yeah celebration with music, dancing, meditation, a chance to meet the monks and amazing food. Check the website for next April's water festival.

Upon arrival you know immediately you are somewhere mystical. An abundance of nature in an area that has clearly been untouched for centuries. Trees of all sorts are surrounding the temple. Cats are sleeping on the shrines or strolling through the meditation garden. The temple grounds were all beautifully designed and resembled traditional Thai architecture. English-led meditations are also offered here and the times can be found on their website. I highly encourage it, especially for beginners. The meditations are always free but it's important to donate so that it will open its doors again when you and I need a place to meditate.
