  Any company that black lists travelers for asking for a refund when the cruise or any company for that matter breaks the contract is a company that should be red flagged.
  
  I paid for my husband and I ocean view staterooms to go to Puerto Rico. Covid hit so things got weird. It got delayed of course no worries. When cruise started back up they changed the ship, the destination and if I recall correctly even the port of departure. This is a breach of contract. I was entitled to a refund. The port they chosen had been to many times, the required masks or vaccines wasn’t clear yet and didn’t sound enjoyable nor like I said was it what I purchased. So I contacted them for a refund. I was asked to wait 30 days while they tried to raise the money. Raise the money? Red flag number two! Wdym raise? 30 days? What if they can’t raise it? Then what? No thanks I said Amex will refund me immediately. I wasn’t told I’d be black listed for getting a justified charge back.
  
  Fast forward to today, Haiti cruise.,,, they just did the same thing to my friend. Changed the port. Albeit due to safety but they are going back to a port she has already been to and they didn’t offer any credits or anything to make it right. Not only that, but my friend who I was going to cruise with back during the Covid cancels cruise she said she had to pay Whet back her refunded cruise!!! Then pay to book this cruise on top of that! Only to have them change ports again! Fool me once…
  
  So if you want to throw money at a cruise line just to party and you will be blacked out the whole time not caring where you end up, fine. Enjoy. But I want to spend my money to get the thing I paid for. Not what they decide to give me.
  
  How is this even legal?

  I just attended Groove Island last weekend which was put together by Whet Travel. AMAZING EXPERIENCE. If I could give this 10 stars I would!!!! The sound system, DJs, venues, jet pack dude, EVERYTHING was just incredible. Thank you guys so much, it was unforgettable!
