Conveniently located across the street from mid beach. Located on the trolley route. Staff was professional and friendly. Fitness room is currently unavailable. Hot breakfast available every morning. Overall nice place to stay.
This is a great place to stay in Mid-Beach area. Beach is across a street from the hotel. Although rooms are small, they are super clean and comfortable. Pool is nice. Breakfast was good, have had better breakfast at other Hampton Inn locations before . I almost gave four stars for breakfast but great staff at front desk makes up for it. Maggie and team work way too hard to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Will definitely recommend.
Wonderful hotel with nice rooms. Very clean and quiet. Maggie at the front desk is exceptional! She is very sweet and accommodating. The man who worked the morning we checked out was also nice and so was the manager. Will definitely stay here again when we are back in town.
We stayed three nights at the Hampton Inn Mid-Beach during the post-pandemic, post-government-stimulus, spring break apocalypse of 2021. The day we arrived the Mayor declared a state of emergency and closed the causeway (this is totally my luck). Anyway, we called the hotel and Olga assured us all was well and they were ready for our stay. The beach was a short walk even with some major construction going on along the boardwalk area. There was also a bus stop (free rides!) nearby and you could get to South Beach or North Beach pretty quickly.
The hotel itself was nice, up-to-date and very clean. There were some interesting guests... but I understand this was an unusual week and that is totally out of the hotel's control. The staff did do what they could to manage unruly patrons (we even got to see the police on one occasion).
I would give 10 STARS TO MARY AT THE FRONT DESK if I could. She was literally the highlight of our trip, a shining beacon of hope as the city (and our vacation) crumbled before us. Mary gave us great recommendations of where to go, eat, avoid etc. She was WONDERFUL.
