Select Specialty Hospital - Miami Lakes

My mom was at Coral Gables Hospital in the ICU. I thought we where going to loose her. She was very ill. Her Nephrology doctor recommended Select Specialty Hospital Miami Lakes. I went to the location and did my little investigation on the place. Very nice place and very clean. There staff was very helpful and attentive. We desided to give them a try. What a wonderful choice we did. On there care, from the ICU to the regular room care, She has bounced back and has recovered slowly out of critical health again. She's feeling a lot better and moving in the right direction. She is still at this location, But we still want to thank all the staff, including all doctors, Dialysis nurse (Antonio Mendez). All the respiratory therapist and nurses that my mom was under there care. if it wasn't for all of them, We would not know in what stage my mom would be in.

My father spent a few weeks here in June and I have to say the service was amazing! The staff, cleanliness, and overall care and attention was top notch from the moment he arrived to the moment he left. The only thing he complained about was the food, but what “hospital food” is delicious? Plus, that just gave us (his family) the opportunity to spoil him and take him food everyday, causing us to spend more quality time with him ☺️.

Thank you to all who work here and for all that you do. You allowed me to have more time with my dad and I am forever grateful.

My Father was admitted at Select Hospital and as soon as he was given the proper treatment and care by the amazing Doctors and staff… he became aware and it was obvious of his amazing recovery.
A special recognition to the nurses and therapist. Israel, Heidy, Rachel and to all of his physical therapist, housekeepers and pulmonologist.
I want to thank Yoel, he was our case manager for my father. Yoel went above and beyond to make sure my father received the proper therapy and care.
It is because of people like Yoel there are excellent hospitals for people in need. We are forever grateful to Yoel and the staff of Select Hospital for giving my father the proper treatment, love, respect and care. My father spent 60 days at Select in Miami Lakes. The staff was beyond amazing. The only thing that we did not like was the case manager assigned to us. Joel. He was rude and not considerate towards a loved ones family nor situation. Other than that, the facility was great and the attention was great overall. Thank you team

I was floored with a recent experience at this hospital. Their exceptional care when my uncle was there… nursing staff, respiratory, etc., were able to wean my uncle off the vent successfully and in just 2 weeks. He’s thriving and continuing his life in comfort. The nursing staff was so kind to him, taking extra care and informing us of all that occurred daily during his stay. Doctors, too, were very attentive and forth coming with information. Upon leaving they even had a long term plan for his recovery. Thank you Select Specialty Hospital!
