(January 25, 2020, 10:18 am)We went on this hike. Be prepared, it’s not paved or groomed. It’s really rough. Full of mud. Pretty cool experience to hike this trail.

(January 10, 2018, 11:25 am)Like a starting line to race against an invisible biting nemesis , the Christian Point Trail is full of mosquitoes and moving quickly can help. Once out in full sun the annoyance subsided and it was a more pleasant experience. A different side of the park awaits at the end of the trail in the form of a beach and tidal mud flat on the bay. The entire park is a matter of timing in order to avoid the insects, Winter, if you can call it that in southern Florida, is better than summer.
