Lovely historic boutique hotel, walking distance to the downtown historic section of Fernandina. Immaculate and quiet. Great place to stay if you’re not into hanging out on the beach. Love the history of this place. Used to be a schoolhouse. Love the irony that children are not permitted as guests! 😆

Very nice boutique hotel in the heart of Fernandina Beach, within easy walk of downtown shops, restaurants and the docks. We stayed for two nights in April 2022. Our room had a king-sized bed that was very comfortable and not too firm like most hotel beds. Everything looked new and clean and we loved the shower head. A/C and ceiling fan worked great. The room had a view of the pool and was pretty quiet. The hotel also has its own bar. Front desk folks and the bartender were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Fernandina.

Great place to get a drink. My first time there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Have live music some evenings. Closes at 9 during week.

Amelia Schoolhouse Inn was so charming! This quaint inn was walking distance to all that downtown Fernandina Beach has to offer. Nicely appointed, clean rooms. Very quiet air conditioner and fan in the room (very important!). Bed and pillows were comfortable. We grabbed a few drinks at The Principal’s Office which was great. And shout out to Amanda for her friendly, attentive service. I chose this hotel based on the reviews and I’m very glad I did! Would recommend this inn to anyone wanting a comfortable, enjoyable stay close to all the good restaurants and shops. Would visit again next time we’re in town!
