Brett’s waterway cafe is a very clean restaurant on the pier. Great ambience, peaceful but lively. They have have a bar and indoor and outdoor seating. Mike, our waiter, was awesome. Knew the whole menu and gave great recommendations. Menu has everything from salads to seafood. Prices are also very reasonable…
First time here, as well as Fernandina Beach. We knew the location on the water was great with the view and all, but we weren’t expecting such quality meals. We were thrilled with all aspects of this restaurant. I had the Catch of the day Mahi over rice and it was about the best I’ve ever had. The flavor of the sauce and fish cooked perfect. The side salad for extra $3 was well worth it. My wife had the Quiche, salad and fresh fruit, with the same quality, presentation and perfect taste. Our server, Max, was well versed on the menu as well as the town, very friendly, attentive and professional. Given how crowded it was, our meals arrived in a reasonable time and temperature perfect. Prices reasonable, atmosphere interesting and clean. Thank you!
Very good food and impeccable and fast service. My husband's burger was really grilled with a delicious aroma of wood. My fish and chips in a thin batter, not too crispy, just right and very juicy. No excess fat, neither in the potatoes nor in the fish. It's on the Marina, so the views are beautiful. The terrace is very comfortable, the breeze runs and it is very pleasant. We have come on Saturday and it fills up fast, it is possible that depending on what time, there may be a waiting list. 100% recommended.
Great food! Great ambiance! Great view!
But the Service is absolutely incredible!
Sean was an amazing server. CONSTANTLY refilling our drinks and paying attention to what was going on all around him and never neglecting anyone. The entire staff was fantastic.
The food? Delicious. The Poor Boy was stuffed with amazing wild-caught shrimp and the home cooked chips are perfectly crunchy.
Wife loved the Fried Grouper Sandwich special they had. I'm not even a fish guy but did taste it and it was pretty good. For fish. 😉
The app was a Crab Dip au Hratin and it was amazing.
And complimentary carrot-raisin-walnut muffins were a great start, perfectly sized and just prepared you for what was coming.
All in all, a fantastic meal on a hot, busy Saturday afternoon and worth every penny.
Highly recommend!
We ordered the fish and chips, and fish sandwich, both were delish. Our waiter, Alex was very knowledgeable on local brews and the one I had was better tasting than Blue Moon which I usually order. Restaurant is located at the Marina very was clean, no musty smell typical with seacoast restaurants wait staff were quick and friendly. Food was hot and fresh. Glad its open again as it was closed during covid. Opened at 1130 am.
