Backwater Cat Adventure

Had a blast. Ben was an excellent guide and made it easy for all. Everyone were different levels of experience in driving boats but it was easy for all. Saw wild horses and the dolphins were the highlight, came right up next to my wife. It made her day!!

Fun for all ages. I'm 73 and my wife is 69. We had no issues or problems. This was the best part of our stay on Amelia Island and I highly recommend it. Kris was our guide and he was friendly, fun and informative. He got us completely comfortable with the equipment before we headed out. I can only describe this as "Adrenalin Rush with Great Views."

This is a must do if you are traveling to the area. This was the highlight of our trip. My husband and I took a short getaway to Amelia island and we did the 2.5 hour boat tour. Worth every penny ! Our guide was awesome we enjoyed his company as if he was just a part of our group! We had so much fun laughs and experiences. Seeing the dolphins in close range and wild horses and all the history stories. Absolutely amazing! I cannot wait to see our photos I think this is awesome the guide takes photos for you and emails them. This really allowed us to just sit back and enjoy every minute of this! We had a little chilly weather but that didn't bother us one bit, we def would do this over and over again but thank you for this experience!

Wow… Had a great time. Chris was our guide. He was wonderful. Was a little nervous about driving this boat around but after 15min … was very easy. Would recommend the longer trip and Chris took us to several places from watching dolphins up close to beaching our boats and enjoying the area. A+ trip.

We looked into the Backwater Cat Adventure as a work team building event. I vacation on Amelia annually and have always wanted to try them out. They did not disappoint. Allen was extremely accommodating and set us up for a really great experience. Everyone on my team really enjoyed the time spent. The guides were very helpful and did everything to provide a fun and safe experience. They were extremely knowledgeable in the local history of Ft. Clinch and Cumberland Island and shared their knowledge with us on points of interest along the way. We saw many great sites and created some awesome memories as a team. Highly recommended for family or corporate events! It is definitely a do over for us!!
