Her background in hypnotherapy provides so much insight, and ease about a very groundbreaking branch of Therapy and Mental/spiritual wellness.   Lotoya is by far the most caring, professional, and effective therapist I have ever worked with. I came to her during a time of great personal transition and upset, with a specific group of concerns and challenges. After working with Lotoya, I've seen improvement and growth not only around the issues that brought me to her in the first place, but in every single area of my life.

  From the very first time I saw her on therapyforblackgirls.com I was drawn to her. After passing her bio on the website, and continuing to browse, I kept getting drawn back to her. In that moment I did not understand but from our first phone encounter, I knew she was the perfect for me. Our connection from the initial conversation was so strong. When we did have our first in person visit I had such a breakthrough, one that I did not have previously. She was able to help me see things from a different perspective that I had not been willing to see. We have had a few intensive therapy sessions and to say when I first walked in I was broken and battered, mentally, emotionally and spiritually would be the an understatement but after that first session, my God! I was blown away and healing instead of hurting and healing at the same time. Latoya is an amazing spirit that was purposely sent to me on my healing journey. She is very attentive, her communication is very transformable, she always has an amazing energy and she is very knowledgeable, she answers any and all questions and she loves what she does. I full recommend an in-person visit but if you cannot make it I would definitely set up a virtual appointment with her immediately.

  I started seeing Lotoya in the summer of 2019, and we instantly connected. She's the utmost professional, kind and thoughtful. She made every session personal and tailored to my needs and progress. I can't say enough good things about her!

  No doubt, Lotoya has changed my life for the better. A listening ear that keeps it real in an empathetic manner and who TRULY works to understand and help her patients help themselves. I saw her to help work through terrible relationship patterns I kept repeating and throughout our weekly sessions, we unpacked childhood issues that speak directly to those repeated behaviors. I could not have achieved any level of self-realization that I have over the last few months had it not been for her.
