Orange County Parks and Recreation

I have utilized Orange County parks and have the highest compliments for the Department's staff from the top all the way down to the bottom.

This Department's personnel deserves High accommodations for their service to Orange County Citizens. I praised each and every one of them and I thank Orange County for providing this valuable service to our citizens!

The new "neighborhood trails" running along 429 are great and they have potential of being fabulous. The turnaround however, at MM 0.0 needs tables or benches, bathrooms, water, maybe all of the above.

I love this place, love all of the things they offer, even the ones I do not dare nor would I ever dare partake in, such as dirt BMX track. What I would take part in and do is frisbee golf. Before I forget I want to make sure I state my number one reason I love this particular place, which is the ratio between sheer size of this recreational facility and the actual number of visitors. Rarely crowded, it is a hidden gem on a strip of colonial that seemingly offers nothing but car dealerships, auto mechanic stores and liquor-beer-ciggs combination of little grocery/less grocery stores. What adds to it being hidden and also makes it impossible to miss once you know this, is that it is located directly behind the central florida fairgrounds on Colonial Dr. On top of this it is cool to keep in mind that the actual fairgrounds has multitude of events, those for the whole family as well as more specialized shows of a wide variety.
Sat & Sun if you choose to go out and visit the park, make sure you also stop by the flea market that starts at 7:30am on both days.
