A very Green type of LOVE!!!
This Park is very shady. It was a little confusing as it was my first time there. I didn't see a sign to turn right for the playground area and I have parked only where there was a pavilion. I would suggest that they put a sign saying playground is this way as soon as you turn in. My 1.5 year old enjoyed the playground and I loved that it was fenced in.
The most confusing part of this park is the entrance. If you're coming for the playground with your kids turn right. If you're coming to stand on the grass? Make a left. Maybe it's for picnicking, idk.
But the playground is great! I would say good up to maybe 5yr old kids. Anything in ng older than that and this park would be boring for the child. Its fenced in, so if you have a runner, this saves you. It has swings for the little ones which is amazing to see all the children laughing and playing, warms my heart. There's no where for a mom to sit so be ready to run around with your little one. I've seen moms bring blankets to sit on the ground, but it doesn't work if the playground is particularly full.
Did I mention shaded area? Oh yeah, shade! ????
Also a nice table area if you wanted to bring some food with you and eat outdoors. If you're into that sort of thing, if not that's okay too.
Very clean and well maintained. Visitors however need to respect others and obey the No Dog rule especially when there are dog parks close by.
My 2 and 5 year old love going to the playground here
