Hartman House provides an optimal environment for men in early recovery. The houses are well kept, clean and safe. The support and structure is top notch. Hartman House was a key component for my transition into becoming a productive member of society. I was a resident of Hartman House 7 years ago and recently stopped by to visit Jim and Rebecca. The passion they have for helping others has only grown since my time as resident. I highly recommend Hartman House for any man serious about sobriety.
The Hartman’s are a godsend! I can’t say enough positive accolades for this generous couple. They manage a remarkable program with many halfway houses. They are available for loved ones of their residents. It’s truly a program of recovery and accountability. I lived at the Hartman house for 7 months. I’ve never been to a nicer halfway house in my life. Jim and Rebecca are amazing in the aspect of how they run their houses. The staff they have to help out are amazing as well. They have enough structure that you’ll have to do something or you won’t live there but they also give you ample amount of freedom. I love this place it’s helped me get on the right track.
Outstanding facility and staff. Parents and residents need not look any further for an A+ facility with a structured program that supports recovery. The homes are well-maintained and beautiful and Jim and Rebecca are accessible, skilled, and kind.
Aside from the beautiful homes in excellent and safe locations, the true benefit of The Hartman House is their dedication to a primary mission...foundational recovery. Post treatment, the very next stage is crucial in building a progressively effective routine that supports long term recovery. The Hartman House encapsulates the recipe; appropriate balance of structure and freedom with a carefully chosen staff of individuals, Jim & Rebecca Hartmen included, that genuinely care about the resident's progress and success. Each staff member was always willing to offer guidance and be there for me as an ear or advisor. That being said, they didn't "hold my hand," either...I needed that. They were always a resource, yet I needed to do the true work myself. Recovery cannot be handed to you, we need to earn it. The Hartman's understand this and have designed their program to support it. I wouldn't be where I am today without them.
