  Absolutely the best place for any eye problem. After having complications after a different surgeon did cataract and lens replacement and couldn't help me, Dr Smiddy and Dr Obrien saved my eye and sight. Cant say enough great things about these doctors and staff. When i had an emergency they called and squeezed me in to get seen. Best place hands down ever

  For the past 18years my wife has had Macular Degeneration and it had gotten worse each year till now she finds it difficult to see the faces on our tv, as well as people’s faces just 3feet in front of her. We have been going to Baskin Palmer for the past 4years and the people there are dedicated to helping MD patients deal with their sickness. They cannot cure it but have slowed down its progression. They are there all people suffering with eye problems, and they all do it smiling and care. They and their Doctors have the state of the art equipment and technology. As you enter the facility, a large sign says they have again won the highest award for excellence.

  Dr. O’Brien has my full trust. That is a very good feeling if you’ve been to
  a different kind of Dr. I didn’t realize how important it was to get to the right Dr. until I needed him. He’s well worth the wait. But, I’m having a harder time getting there to see him being on the other coast. I’ll never forget my first visit. This other patient ask me how I found it and I told him a friend of a friend gave me their name. I asked him the same. His response was IF YOU ARE IN DIRE NEED OF HELP FOR YOUR EYES, YOU FIND BASCOM PALMER. So True.
