Orchid Cove at Dade City

I began working at Orchid Cove 2 months ago. This is what it is for me. I began my nursing career in a 5 star facility, let’s say that that’s where I “grew up” , like in my parents home per say. But then the time came where I had to leave and find a new place…. That place was like when you leave home and get your first apartment, and you learn and grow up, take accountability for your self and earn your credit. THEN I searched for my home. One I can stay in forever, I found it in Dade city at Orchid Cove. I found my forever home here. The environment is home like. The residents have a voice and the staff work their hardest to make sure the residents have all their needs met and feel like they are cared for. Administration listens to all the staff and make the effort to bring forth changes that benefit the building. They also recognize the staff that are working and praise them and physically get involved with helping to ensure things get done that need to be done. In a time when healthcare workers are burnt out and corporations are trying to make cuts and running off staff, Orchid Cove is a place where growth is promoted, encouraged and backed up. If I had to place my parents in a home I would bring them here, because here….. I’ve seen staff go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of the residents that trusted them to care for them. Looking for a loving home for your loved one? My mother was here for 3 years and it was one of the better places in the Dade City area she enjoyed the staff and they all traded her with respect.

I’ve been cleaning the hoods for this company for a few years now and I have to say I’m pretty impressed with the cleanliness of the kitchen. Also the staff are very friendly and respectful. John Brown is a great guy to work with. I’ve never had a problem when I go there everything is set up and ready for me to do my job.

Today I met with Ms. Joni she was so nice and made me feel comfortable talking to her. She was able to answer all my questions and meet all my needs. Very professional and exceptionally understanding to my needs and concerns.

Very professional. Wonderful staff, wonderful care. I would definitely recommend and would definitely go there again. I received quality care. They are like family when I was there. They cater to individual needs. It very clean. They have activities. The Physical Therapist really care. They cater to your dietary likes and needs. My clothing was tended to delicately. Always positive staff. They have a beautiful courtyard and a library.
