Home Plate on the Trail Restaurant

The outdoor seating area on a nice day is great, just know there isn't much shade if the table umbrellas are not out.
Food is great, atmosphere is great, service is outstanding (our server did great keeping up with our list of requests, including moving tables twice due to the sun).
Coffee could improve.

FANTASTIC! Super-busy on New Years Day... Home Plate was a HOME RUN. The staff knocked it out of the park. Kitchen was amazing. Jenny was fantastic. Fried green tomato Benedict was 🔥 😋

Great stop while riding the bike trail! Loved the outdoor seating and service. We had the eggs Benedict and I had the Florida Benedict which was delicious and would have been perfect if the muffin wasn't soggy. Home fries were good. My mom enjoyed her Mimosa and I had a bloody Mary.

Had a great lunch here. Back yard patio dining "on the Trail". A great menu - eclectic mix of German and Mexican - all authentic. I had Bratwurst - excellent. And don't forget a bottle if Hoffbrau beer - very tasty! I hear this place can get pretty crowded...for a good reason. Check it out!
