had a couple of appetizers and a dirty martini and was thoroughly impressed atmosphere is nice little on the up and up side but that is what makes it nice

If you are staying at the Peninsula Inn (or even if you aren't!) you gotta try Isabelle's!

First of all they are dog friendly if you are ok with sitting on the patio. Our waiter both times was great (Truman was his name I think?) and all the staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is quaint/ historic and the restraunt is clean, both inside and out.

The food is VERY good. We tried several appetizers and entrees. The biscuits and cornbread are must haves and the catfish plate is fantastic!

The only criticisms I would have is that some of the entrees & appetizers seem a little on the pricey side for the quantity. Nothing so bad I felt it was out of line though.

Overall an excellent dining choice while you are in Gulfport.

Our family had a nice meal at Isabelle's on Friday. The appetizers were all very tasty, and I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes. The short rib and Georgia peach chicken were good but not amazing. The cocktails were great. It was a little chilly so they had the heat lamps out, and there was live guitar music. Overall, if you are in Gulfport for a night, I would recommend checking out Isabelle's.

Great outdoor atmosphere. Service was paced just perfectly. Food was very good. Really enjoyed both the Voodoo shrimp and pork belly appetizers. Prime rib was the special and two in our party order it and it looked very good and each said it was prepared perfectly. I had seafood paella and there were many different types of seafood. I did think there was a bit too much rice. Cocktails were good. Prices were good. All in all a very nice dining experience in a cool atmosphere.
