This place was great except the pool there was some person evaporating the pool but 5 star because the free ice was amazing

I went to Keystone Motel, but my room was frozen, and I saw a kid with his dad eating square pizza. I ordered some square pizza myself, and it was delicious, but my room was still frozen, and when I went to swim in a pool, it evaporated and a red kid was pacing around in it. Next I went to the “Best Diner in the World”, but guess what? There were 2 women sitting at the table across from me, and they were arguing. However, I still give it 5 stars for the free ice.

Wonderful time at the Keystone Very friendly people, perfect location. Not a resort but all you need. Loved the quaint small town friendly feel. Amazing sunsets!!

My wife and I stay here 5 nights in early August 2020.
We stayed here the year before and enjoyed it so much we came back and even requested the same room.

Staff is very friendly, great location.
Across from beach, walk to restaurants.

Incredibly helpful and friendly service from the owners in the office and Melissa, who took care of our room. The room was very clean, updated, and comfortable, although some might think it’s on the small side. The bathroom could use a vent (fan), and the air conditioner might be loud for some people. Those are the only drawbacks I could see. Otherwise, this is a perfect little motel in the ideal location for enjoying the beach and the best of Pass-a-Grille. The pool is small, but very nice and clean, and we found it very enjoyable. We had a second floor room and the view of the water from the front door and patio table was gorgeous. Parking is free, and they had some beach chairs and floats that we were able to use (complimentary and subject to availability). We used to stay at the Beach House Suites by Don CeSar, for those familiar, but since they dramatically increased their rates, we tried Keystone. We are so happy we did, and now Keystone will be our place for getaways. As locals living in Tampa, we hope to be there once a month. This motel gets my highest recommendation. It’s perfect for couples and solo travelers.
