Salt and Mist Sea Tours

I need a six or seven star option. Captain Joe was fantastic. I have family in the area, but it had been too cold to show them any of the water adventures I love so much in Florida and most of my last minute ideas were booked. Then I ran into Salt and Mist and Captain Joe really delivered.

I’ve been on a dozen of these and while they are all enjoyable, Captain Joe gave us something special, taking us all the way out to and under the Skyway bridge when I asked about it. Sunset on the water, finally getting under the Sunshine Skyway and lots of dolphin magic on the way back. Personable, knowledgeable, and safe but bold, he gave us an awesome experience and we look forward to our next adventure with Salt and Mist.

This was my family’s first time out on a boat tour. Captain Joe is such a wonderful person to be around. Not only a fantastic tour guide but he is a phenomenal captain. We would definitely do this again!! The only regret we have is not booking a longer tour We were out there for two hours and saw so much and had so much fun. We got to see manatees and dolphins. A lot of marine life in the Tampa Bay. Captain Joe brings such good energy, along with his qualifications, I would not book anywhere else.

Looking for something different to do for date night or with a group of friends? Then seriously look no further. The 90 min sunset cruise by Salt and Mist Sea Tours is AMAZING! Captain Joe was quick to respond to my inquiry and helped me set up a fantastic night out for me and my friends. Booking was fast & easy through their website. My girlfriends and I enjoyed a beautiful evening out in the Bay guided by Captain Justin accompanied by his First Mate, Kayla. He was fun and made it a memorable night for me and my friends with great music. The views of the sunset and the Bay were unbeatable. We had great laughs, beautiful photos and memories that will last a lifetime. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait til we book our next adventure with this team!

Listen carefully!! I’ve been on MANY boat tours, I've been on a lot of boats. This by far is the BEST experience I’ve EVER HAD!!!! Captain Joe is beyond amazing not only as a tour guide but as an actual captain. The ride the whole time was incredible smooth. The way he was breaking the waves perfectly and also taking turns, i was beyond impressed. My boyfriend and i could not stop taking about it. He managed to drive that boat and take videos and pictures of us, tell us history about well everything, but still gave us quiet time with the perfect music in the background. Oh and i almost forgot we saw dolphins not one but three!!!! 100/10 experience! Definitely will be booking again.

I booked a boat ride last minute while in St. Petersburg with my daughter last week. I had contacted several other boat ride services and no one would book us last minute. I didn't want to leave the Tampa area without experiencing a ride out in the ocean. Captain Joe replied quickly to my inquiries and he got us on for the final ride of the day. He and captain Maggie were very professional, cool hosts. Captain Joe gave us some good history on the islands and took us out for a beautiful view of the sunset, we even managed to catch a glimpse of a dolphin. Great music, great vibes and thanks for the drinks and the awesome pictures!
