  After calling 3 different dive shops in the area to inquire about getting myself and grandson scuba certified I decided on Suncoast Dive Center and the reason was Chad Campbell the owner answered the phone and took the time to answer every question I asked and never tried to hurry me off the phone as the other two did.
  Chad not only answered my questions, but had a few of his own.
  I stopped by his shop and introduced myself and Chad made me feel right at home and again answered my questions and invited me to bring my grandson in which I did and very patiently addressed his questions and there were a lot of them.
  Jayden and signed up and right from the first class with Chad and Rob Ruffner (Chad’s friend and right hand man and asst. instructor) we knew that we made the right choice. They made the course easy, and enjoyable with safety always first.
  I can not say enough about their professional helpful and sincere concern for introducing us to this wonderful sport.
  I might add that my grandson will be 14 the 29th of this month and I am 71.
  If you have ever thought of getting scuba certified don’t wait, and do yourself a favor and contact Chad and Rob at Suncoast Dive Center you’ll be glad you did!

  Absolutely the best dive shop in Tampa Bay. Chad is the most knowledgeable, nicest, safest and most level headed dive professional in the industry.

  Great shop, been going there since it opened. Chad and staff very knowledgeable and always very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

  This place is A++
  I had a very bad experience at another shop with my kid getting certified. I found this center and Naui transferred my daughter’s test over to Suncoast.
  From beginning to end the entire team was top notch.
  Brook is so helpful in the store.
  Chad and Rob are the best dive professionals I’ve ever met. The were so thorough and so great with my kid. Encouraging and patient. They also treated her like she belonged when she did her checkout dives (she was the only kid in the group). She gained a ton of confidence and it really reinforced the material she missed in the last class.
  I’m glued to this shop now :)
