  Lassing has some of the best sunrises in St Pete. Lots of space, bring the pups! Some benches sprinkled around. Very peaceful.

  Beautiful park just south of downtown! We live just around the corner in Bayside so we come here often. Absolutely beautiful. Great place to hammock or go for a walk! Way less crowded than Vinoy but is somewhat similar.

  Love this park! This park is great, it is located right on the water and this sometimes allows for a nice breeze. The only negative would be the grass that is a little rough, but overall the park is in a great location with a decent amount of tree cover and also has some park benches. Also, a great location to take the dogs or to do a quiet or low key beach day

  A great place for sunrise! Lassing Park in St. Pete is one of those hidden gems most people are unaware of. It’s great that the city set this land aside for all to enjoy the great views of Tampa Bay, otherwise it would all be condos by now I'm sure… Great park recommended if you’re in the area. No playground or much to do for the kids, but there are plenty of open spaces for running around and touching the water.

  Lassing park is a gem within St Pete’s many beautiful outdoor green spaces. Situated at the edge of the Old Southeast, this waterfront park is the epitome of the neighborhood. Stunning water views to your East and Downtown st Pete north, this is a great place to go to walk your dogs or just enjoy some fresh air. I love sitting on the bench or the sand beaches and watch the world go by. Unlike many of st Pete’s other parks, this one is much less crowded and it’s a great spot to think, meditate, or unwind. On certain days I’ve seen many people take out their water rigs and go paddle boarding or wind surfing just off the shore of the park. Slack liners can often be found and other dog and pet lovers. Definitely a great community park with stellar views
