  We live near Lake Wales all year, so we are local diners. We have eaten breakfast, but this is a first for dinner. We both got burgers and fries/onion rings. The burger tasted great, good seasoning etc. The food was hot and fresh. The fries were just regular crinkle fries, and not the type I like. Next time I’ll opt for another side. The service was excellent. At 6:30 PM, people were beginning to leave, so it’s easy to get in and eat. Lots of seniors eat early. The desserts look wonderful and I’ve eaten chocolate cake there before. I didn’t get one today, but I recommend them.

  I went to city star one afternoon and had an amazing time. The food was hot and was more than I could eat. I absolutely loved my meal. The fully loaded fries were hot and so cheesy. And the bacon cheddar burger was so juicy and filling. I definitely recommend joining them for a meal.

  Good food, friendly staff, we will be back. I had the chopped steak with gravy, a side salad, and a side of broccoli. My husband had the patty melt with fries. We also got a order of chicken wings. It was all delicious! Although we didn't have any dessert, they had a good selection and I will definitely try some next time.

  Three dinners and all 3 diners left full and happy. Catfish is super good. Salads as a meal are huge portions. Fries were average. Desserts look incredible. Bathroom was clean. Service was good.
