My mother is in her 70's, has been very active and lives alone in a rented cute historical cottage near Lakeland's Lake Morton. Recently while on her outdoor deck a board collapsed beneath her and she toppled over breaking her right lower leg in three places and dislocating her ankle. It was horrific to say the least. I live out of state and one sister lives two hours away while one sister lives local. My local sister was doing all she could while maintaining her small business. It just got too much so we looked for an at home care provider that could help with the basics including walking my Mom's two dogs. After interviewing several companies we decided to use Ken and his team at Home Helpers Home Care not only because of their outstanding qualifications but because we really connected on a personal level. I could tell that if things got tough, Ken's humor and laugh would be just the thing to ease the tension we've been facing. Now a year later, Mom's gone through several surgeries and recuperation periods to match. Times have been tough emotionally for Mom as a very independent person, but Ken's team has helped her, through their kindness, compassion and professionalism, open up to receiving kind help from others - besides her kids. I and my two sisters can't thank Ken and his team enough and we recommend them highly.
