Grace City Church

This church saved my life, I met Jesus here at conference through pastor tyshone Roland and jimmy rollins

Honestly, I haven't found a church that we "Felt" we belonged in. Today that all changed! I've been invited for years to come by multiple different people and I've been putting it off. I was in shock with how great the message was given to us. I will be making this our home! If you on the fence about trying it out just come and try it out! Huge shout out to Adam for introducing us to everyone and showing us around! I really enjoyed how connected the pastors are!

Absolutely love this church me and my littles started attending a little over a month ago. We were welcomed with open arms , they prayed for us and thanked us for coming. I love how each Sunday is a new word and I always leave feeling positive and learn something new each time ! I have even cried a few times . My kids love their classes they always ask when we will go to church again .

Finally remembered to get on and write a review. This church is love and grace! Like their name Grace City. Finally a church with pastors that embrace the gay and queer community! Just what Lakeland has needed, the true love of Jesus. Here you won’t hear old fashioned outdated talk about how trans and queer Christians are living in “sin,” or uneducated tired rhetoric about the “controversy “ of gender fluidity. As a non-binary queer Christian I have finally found a church home that accepts and affirms exactly how God made me. My cousin, who is trans, will be joining soon as well. I’ve been pleasantly surprised to be meeting others within the LGBTQ + community that attend here. My small group leaders has been so supportive and welcoming of who I am. Here, I am free! Also it’s worth mentioning that my friend goes to the Moms group here and they are actually current on the times and teach newer progressive parenting! Like not to spank your kids, not to always be telling them “no”, and to just let them decide for themselves who they want to be without so much control! So refreshing to find a church that’s actually updated with current culture. I had been hoping to find such a progressive more liberal place to go and this is definitely it! Grace City is a safe place !
