(October 13, 2019, 11:55 am)Great food, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Serve yourself soft drinks, which I prefer, but I think the dining room attendant would do it - the are VERY attentive, but not overly so.

(September 3, 2019, 7:19 pm)Food was great. Loved the pulled pork and smoked brisket. Sides were cole slaw which is sweet but a different sweet than I have had. Baked beans were phenomenal. Sweet potato fries were crispy on outside, fluffy in middle (it's hard to find good sweet potato fries that aren't limp. Recommended it to family before we left the restaurant! Very quaint and unassuming. Personally I liked this way better than the barbecue place on Southside that supports veterans (wasn't sure if could use the name). PS: Been wanting to try this place since Charley's World did piece on it. ????????

(July 14, 2019, 7:52 am)Ribs was delicious. I like the fact they had different sauces on the table for you to try. I recommend trying, smoky, honey sweet, and hot cayenne.I especially love the fried corn. Fried shrimp was good, but not something I'll order again. Collard greens was good too. Very clean establishment. This place is predominantly caucasian, but the staff was very friendly and helpful.
