Cocoon To Butterfly

Lina was amazing. I had tried to paint my nightstands but after 3 different coats of paint I gave up & contacted Cocoon to Butterfly. She was able to remove all the paint I applied without damaging the furniture & (based on her recommendation ) she painted them a beautiful blue color with a shadow tint. The nightstands turned out better than I could imagine & really standout in my bedroom. 😊

We are beyond pleased with the beautiful work Lina did on two occasional tables for us. They were damaged quite a bit during our move from MI. However, Lina’s skill with restoration and color accuracy is amazing! I would challenge anyone to find where the damage had been initially! Thank you, Lina! So happy to have found Lina Docken ! We had a traditional dark cherry wood Thomasville bedroom set that we loved, but it didn’t work in our new space . We brought it to Lina, with the intent of just lightening up the wood. As she began to work on it , she discovered the set was mostly veneers and mixed woods. Undaunted , she proposed several different solutions and finishes. We decided to give her free rein to use her immense artistic abilities and create a truly unique piece of art for our bedroom. She was extremely communicative through the whole process to make sure we were happy with what she was doing. It was a tremendous amount of work and we are so pleased with the result . Looking forward to decorating to match our new pieces!

Lina, owner of Cocoon to Butterfly and gifted artist transforms cast aside and found pieces and gives them new life with her brillant color palettes. I was looking for a small cabinet to store my spinning fiber and saw this stunner on Facebook Marketplace. It was exactly what I had in my head and I'm a picky individual. In addition to this gorgeous color scheme, Lina's craftsmanship is of the highest order. Not only that she delivered the piece.
