Redlane Automotive & Performance

I have had a very serious phantom electrical issue for a couple of years in my 1992 Mitsubishi Evolution GSR. i have lost count of the amount of shops and Evolution enthusiasts who have looked at this car trying to help me find the issue. I was referred to Redlane, as i pulled up, they opened the hood and noticed i had the wrong battery before the hood prop was placed. Again, hundreds of people have looked at this car, and no one noticed. It also appears the incorrect battery was a main contributor to the issue if not the main cause as the issue has been resolved after the correct battery and new ground were installed. I had a new ground made last year but Steve showed me it was installed incorrectly. This is the kind of expertise I have been looking for since i acquired this vehicle. Redlane is almost an hour from me, but no one will touch this car but Steve and his team going forward. Craziest part is this shop specializes in performance upgrades, but Steve saw an Evo in peril and jumped at the chance to help. Also really fair and transparent pricing to boot. Been taking my Evo to Red lane for the past 6 months - best in class experience everytime. Miss-shifted in my car and thought I destroyed my engine. Steve diagnosed it in 20 minutes and they had my car back on the road the next day. Always take care of their customers!!

Steve and the team are awesome! If you have an Evo/DSM this is the place to send it! My Evo X was a mess, and they went above and beyond to sort out all the issues it was having. Will definitely be back for any future work on the car

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Steve and Pops are phenomenal. I had a bunch of work done to my Evo X and they kept me in the loop the entire time and their work is CLEAN! They’re passionate for cars, want you to enjoy driving your vehicle, will make sure you are taken care of with your best interest in mind. I live 2 hours away from the shop but I will gladly make the drive to ensure they’re the only ones that work on my car moving forward. 5 Stars all day
