Sarasota Bay Explorers

Sunset cruise was so much fun! Was hoping to see dolphins and saw one super fast by the side of our boat. Definitely am experience we won’t forget! The captain and first mate were also very knowable and fun!

Great day in the bay today. Marine Biologist Victoria was great. Her knowledge was spot on and her humor was just the right amount of “bad”. Our captain, Angel, was personable and did a great job getting us around. Saw lots of seabirds and some really interesting creatures from the bay during our trawling part of the trip. Sadly - no dolphins today.

Great time!!! John was an awesome captain! Jill was a wonder tour guide. Such a great time very informative! Definitely a must do!!

We took the 11am 2hr cruise today, beautiful weather, very accommodating with my mom, roomy pontoon boat, tour lead by marine biologist, 10 year veteran volunteer guide & The captain. We saw a few dolphins, lots of sea birds, bird sanctuary, a short island walk w emphasis on unexpected consequences of transplanted plants & fish, lots of local history as well. They educate in tandem w Mote Marine Aquarium there was also a look at sea life brought up while out in Sarasota bay.
We had a great time & the cost was affordable

Great tour. Excellent staff. Our guide was a Marine Biologist and local resident. Her extensive knowledge of the Sarasota Bay Estuary made for a fun and interesting couple hours. Since it was spring, we were able to see the Seabirds in their rookery. Another part of the tour had us using a net to capture, discuss, and then release some flora and fauna. Kids will love the "hands on " experience. We also saw several Dolphins.
