Katerina helped me design the home interior that I bought recently, and I'm very happy with the output of our collaboration. She set up clear expectations and is transparent on pricing, thorough on designs, and patient in helping me analyze and decide on various possibilities. While she considered and incorporated many of my requests, I'm also thankful that she guided and rejected some of my crazy ideas that would not fit my place.

Working with Katerina of KB Design was a pleasure and the finished project truly a collaborate effort. Katerina kept me informed of our progress in the design process and when and what to expect next. She listened to and remembered my ideas and requests and provided thorough explanations of her design proposals. Katerina definitely stays up to date on the design world, which was especially important in this time of COVID-19 supply chain disruptions. Thanks to Katerina’s expertise, I now have a home I can enjoy for many years to come.

House remodels do not always go to plan and mine was an odyssey filled with trials (an unresponsive architect) and tribulations (delayed permits, issues with the health department) but the one constant bright light guiding the project to ultimate success, and helping me keep my sanity, was Katerina, of KB Design.

Working with Katerina was a joy. She is a great listener and very attentive to what you want out of a project. Starting with an initial design consultation and some ‘homework’ for me to go through and flag photos of different design styles (what I liked, what I did not), Katerina was able to get an idea of my personal aesthetic tastes and start to put together a vision for what my house could become. She then guided the process from start to finish, working very closely with my chosen contractor to get the details just right, and working with me constantly to refine design choices, pick out furniture and appliances, finishes and colors, and ensure that her vision for me and what I wanted in the end were converging to a great outcome.

I could not be happier with the end result.

Katerina was so helpful in our kitchen and bath remodel. We purchased our first house and were new to the design/remodel process. Katerina helped us through every step, including many hours of deciding on cabinets, sinks, tiles, hardware, etc. She also partnered well with our carpenter which reduced stress for us acting as our own GC. She also has great humor and was so fun to work with!

After interviewing several designers, I chose Katerina. It was a great fit. Katerina is a wonderful listener and focuses on her clients' personality and likes as well as adding her own expertise and input. Having Katerina direct my kitchen plus remodel helped me immensely in going through the process in a positive way, avoiding mistakes that can happen when choosing so many design areas that go into a remodel. I am now enjoying my remodel and am thankful for having chosen Katerina to direct me and my contractor.
