This is a good affordable hotel at a great location.
Lido beach is beautiful, wide, and not too crowded. The white sand has a bit of shells (great for collectors but not for barefoot runners), but it does not squeak underfoot!! It's a great beach! + The hotel pools are nicely heated!
The hotel rooms are a bit out-dated with older plumbing and finishes, loud AC, flaky paint, and there is a little bit of a dank smell. But the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The buffet breakfast looked good, but nothing extraordinary.
Still, please don't read this as a negative review, rather it's a setting for your expectations of this 3-star hotel: it's a great beach location for the price, just call to get the best price with included breakfast!

(August 9, 2022, 10:42 pm)We absolutely love the resort and look forward to returning. The 1950s feel of the lobby and the grounds take you in and surround you with childhood memories. The charm makes up for the chip paint here and there. Everything was cleaned and comfortable.
The location right on the beach was perfect. The pools were refreshing and the tiki hut was convenient with great drinks and great service. We only had breakfast at the restaurant but it was wonderful to sit outside by the pool. Again the service was great in the food outstanding.
The staff members were friendly and very helpful from check in to check out. We had such a good time that we extended our stay.
It was nice to have shuttle service right from the hotel. I also love the history and can't wait to return. -

(May 9, 2022, 3:49 pm)We've had a great time so far! Plenty of room for my mom, grandmother and me. We're also able to have our 2 small, well behaved dogs with us. Grateful for that because never want to leave them home. The beds are very comfortable and one of the showers has multiple shower heads in it, pretty big. I found it strange that the master suite did not have a bathroom attached. The kitchen is small but there is a full size refrigerator, dishes and utensils, a hotplate and there are 2 mini fridges. We especially enjoyed the patio and all the comfy chairs. PERFECT to watch the sunset. It was great to have a beachfront, private view.

(April 8, 2022, 9:49 am)A very nice friendly on the beach old hotel. They are updating it now, May, and we saw workers painting outside and construction materials in garage area.
We stayed on top 4th floor and the room was updated but still needs work. Bath is very small and outside door needs replacing..you could see the open gap beneath it. Our patio had no separation so hotel neighbors could walk in front of out window and door...scary.
Restaurant was good with coffee at 6am outside at pool area. Pool was nice but no kiddie pool. Towels provided and chairs.
Rose, our housekeeper was so sweet and nice.
