  Wonderful expanse of green space and waterfront. Even spotted a dolphin from the park bench.

  Only just learned about this lovely little park back behind the auditorium, which is perfect for a nighttime stroll (or sit, haha).
  Right now, there are several bridges, walkways and trees strung with lights so it's particularly lovely.
  Currently, the path winds from in front of Van Wezel/adjacent to the Art Center around to the side of VW's grounds and out by the bay. Once construction is done, it'll be more elaborate.
  The completed path meanders around thoughtfully landscaped walkways with informative (printed into the surface) walkovers, into a lovely banyan courtyard which has seating (including a gorg metal swing overlooking a bay offshoot creek) and even has a small watercraft deck/dock (complete with built-in launch-assists! and a storage rack).
  Can't wait to see it in the daytime (particularly sunset!), and also when the whole thing is finished.

  Went to park for first time where astronomers had telescopes out viewing the night skies. Very cool.

  This is going to be the best park in Sarasota. It's around the historic Van wezel performing arts center, but encompasses a lot more and is in the process of developing a whole new public space. Looking forward to it.
