My nearly 80 year old baby grand had been moved twice, and got severely out of tune. Since it was so far out of tune, I quit playing it, and it consequently stiffened up with several sticky keys. When I did try to ply it, i got frustrated because of its condition. I used Larry several years ago, and went on a mission to find him. My first question to him was whether he still did piano tuning. His response was whether I still played it.
After a good laugh on both sides, I scheduled for him to come out and get it in shape. Of course, it needed quite a bit more than a basic tuning, but Larry got it back in shape at a very reasonable rate.
I sent him a text thanking him for giving me back my old friend. It sounds and feels like new again!

I moved to Sarasota area just few months ago. My piano was badly damaged during transportation. I had problems with all 3 pedals and the piano coating lost shine.
On his first visit Larry fixed my pedals. He also promised to try to restore the coating. No guarantee. Few weeks later he returned to tune my instrument and also restored the coating beautifully to its original shine.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience hiring Larry. I have a 30 year old Estonia baby grand that needed tuning. Larry masterfully and patiently worked on my piano until the tuning was absolutely perfect, and stayed as such. He then went the extra mile for me and repaired a clunking noise in my sustain pedal, and then took time and care to teflon lube the keyboard assembly to alleviate a squeak.
Larry is meticulous, kind, polite, and professional. He also plays beautifully, and it’s worth hiring him just to hear him play for you :)
