Dr. Downing is like family; I have raised 3 since middle school that are now in their upper twenties, and they all STILL go to him as adults. The staff is Team Family and complement Dr. Downing's endeavors to make your medical needs a priority and success toward better health.
My experience with Dr. Downing is always exceptional. He's not my primary doctor, but when I throw my back out, his adjustment skills as an osteopath are excellent. He has me up and going again, usually with one visit and a prescription. The staff is always friendly, and they bend over backward to get me in and out as efficiently as possible.
The Doctors nurses and staff are excellent and have been taking care of me and my family for 30+ years. We consider them part of our family. They are truly trustworthy with your health foremost the issue.
I've been going to them for many years now. I didn't know they recently became an appointment based doctor's office vs. a walk in. However, the lady at the front desk was very nice about it and able to fit me in that same day. The doctor was very nice and positive. The wait time and appointment was short, sweet, and to the point. Also, they were able to pull up my health insurance information quickly. Overall, it seems the recent changes they've made have been positive ones, and more helpful for the patients and staff.
I've been going to Family Health Center of Greater Orlando for 14 or 15 years now. Dr. Downing has been my primary provider. I couldn't imagine having to find a new doctor at this point. I love the care he provides me and the relationship we have developed over the years. When he's not available I'm still very confident in his staff and the care I will receive from them. All take the time to listen to you to determine the best course of action to take. The nurses are awesome, I received a steroid shot in the backside no pain or bruising, I had to have a blood draw for my thyroid work up, again no pain no bruising. As much as I would like to tell all to avoid at all cost so I can keep them all to myself I just can't do it. They are all amazing.
