Giovanni's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

Have been going here for several years. The Giovanni brothers have apparently sold all their restaurants but it appears that the new owners/management company have kept most of the wait and kitchen staff. My mom has gotten the Eggplant Parm every time and loves it. I look forward to the specials, especially Thursday's Chicken gorgonzola. We get dinner sized portions which leaves us with an extra meal or two to take home. Salad is huge and always fresh. The bread is awesome (if you like garlic) but my only complaint is that is almost always arrives between the salad and the main meal. Too late to have with the salad and then no longer hot and fresh with the meal. I have never tried their pizza because I have found what I like.

Looked up places to eat in the area and this looked like something we were interested in. It was absolutely amazing! The bread brought to the table was amazing! I had read that someone was not happy with it but I say obviously it’s a taste preference because we LOVED it! The sauce was outstanding, a slight hint of sweetness but not overtly sweet. Meatballs were huge and dense but very tasty. I had stuffed shells and they were huge!
My husband had a shrimp fra diavolo and he was very happy with it. He added extra hot peppers but I don’t know that he EVER leaves a hot dish alone.
The star of this place was the salad! We loved the house dressing which was unusual and out of this world! When I mentioned it to our server, she shared it was sold to bring home!!! Made my evening even better since we were not from the area!
Service was above the norm from the person greeting us at the door, the person seating us, servers to the young man selling the dressing and a young man making pizza out front! Everyone seemed happy and attentive to all which is so unusual! I highly recommend you try this place. It will not disappoint!
They are busy so you may wait a bit but not to worry…it will be worth it!

Wow so impressed with the service. Thank you Joe. Truly authentic Italian feeling . We ordered the large special and they customize it for us without any hassle. The whole staff were so friendly. Pizza tasted really good. Awesome crust and very generous topics. Recommended a+

This was my first time visiting the restaurant and the food was absolutely amazing and the service was incredible. They were nice enough to take us last minute before closing and normally some places would not do this but they were so welcoming! Our server was Amy who was so polite and right on point with everything! I ordered the Paste Verde and it was a chefs
