Word of mouth is your best advertising. I was scheduled at another rehab center but ran into an acquaintance who told me she had gone to your facility and loved it. She told me how good they were and to ask for Chris. She was assigned to him. I canceled my appointment with the other rehab facility and set up my appointments with Chris. Stephanie and Kevin also worked with me. They were all fantastic. Not only do they do a good job but they make you feel like you are part of a family. I showed up at the wrong time one day and they had no problem accommodating me and always with a smile. I will definitely recommend Brooks Rehabilitation in Oviedo.
I am very glad that I was referred to Brooks Rehabilitation for the physical therapy I requested from my primary care doctor. Working with Stephanie and, occasionally, Kevin, was fun and more productive than I could have imagined. My problem was diagnosed (my right side was weaker than my left causing me some pain and limping); exercises learned and practiced; and in just over 3 months my progress has been truly remarkable. Truly, I hated to graduate! The staff is attentive and knowledgeable and helps you understand the why for each movement. I'm continuing to practice almost daily and will be forever grateful for the ability to move better!
I really can’t say enough about what a great experience I had having physical therapy at Brooks. You won’t feel like you are in a crowd of people just being put through the same cookie cutter routine. I worked with Stephanie to address my low back pain and chronic sciatica. She spent a good amount of time listening and putting together a plan for my particular needs. She made a big difference In my pain levels and taught me quite a bit. Both Stephanie and Chris are knowledgeable, professional, and so very nice!
Llwguw there, after suffering three strokes, wheelchair and without being able to lift, with many doubts, but with a lot of faith, that in the end, I would begin to move forward. I do not speak English very well, but that was not an impediment to receive the best treatment and professionalism I could hope for. All, absolutely all, helped me and encouraged me, they taught me that if I could achieve it. Thanks Chris, Amanda, and all the student interns who helped me. But the biggest thanks to Stephanie, without her I would never have achieved it, you are and you will be my special to me, and I will always remember you, as the magical therapist, who helped me get out of the wheelchair and start giving my first steps, until walking already, only with the help of a walker.
