I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to two of your employees who made my day. We just bought a house in Sanford and had a plumbing backup. Both of your employees work tirelessly to identify the issue and resolve it! Would have been easy enough to "blow-it" off and make it someone else problem but they didn't! I've had some wait times via phone and in person but it's to be expected for servicing a large community. I've been happy with water quality and promptness in connecting or stopping service. Customer service representatives are helpful and courteous.
My family and I moved down from Alabama to our new home in Sanford yesterday evening, and it was too late to connect water service. I called around 9:30 am this morning, and Miss Judy was very helpful, answered all of my questions along with some I didn't even ask, and took extra time to visit with me. Very reassuring!
I arrived at the City of Sanford Public Works & Utilities Department around 11:30 am, experienced minimal wait after completing a simple, one-page application for service, and was checked out at 11:46!! Miss Cotton promised my water would be turned on same day, and did they ever deliver!! We had water at 3:10 pm!! Thank you so much!
Not only that, she gave me a very handy welcome packet with loads of useful information, plus an ePAY authorization that I was happy to see. Done, along with contributing to the Good Neighbor Utility Fund!! Folks, it really doesn't get any better than this. Fantastic job, team!!
