  After being treated by other physical therapists I can truly say Dr. Jakubowski is among the best in her field. Her approach to treatment not only focuses on the immediate symptom but uncovers the underlying cause. By taking a whole body approach Rachel found and relieved not only the issue I first came to her for, but identified other muscular imbalances and put me on a program that has led to a much improved overall physical well being. I'm 65 and feel like I've added years to my life!

  Rachel is the best, I've been seeing her for chronic ankle problems I sustained from a past injury. She does the graston technique and dry needling with me, both have helped me tremendously with my mobility, tightness and to be able to train again. Before Rachel, I was told running was probably not going to happen for me anymore but now I've been able to start training to get back into running! I've been to many different places to try to get treatment closer to home but no one beats the care/treatments she gives nor given me the results she has.

  If you want someone who will get to the root of your issues and not just address surface issues, go to Rachel. I've had recurrent issues with muscle knots, tension, etc, which also began to give me headaches a few years ago, and I've tried all sorts of things - massage, chiro, foam rolling, acupuncture, and another PT. The last PT worked with me for only 2 weeks, didn't pay much attention to my form or wider issues, and unsurprisingly didn't produce lasting results. Rachel's work is much more thorough from Day 1, and her expertise exceeds others.
  It has taken time for me to begin learning/strengthening new movement patterns to replace the poor ones I've had for decades. Rachel helped me correct things over and over until I had the awareness and recognition to do it right on my own. I'm looking forward to being more active without worrying about exacerbating the issues I've had for so long.

  My 16 year old son dislocated his shoulder twice playing football, 2 seasons in a row. He completed physical therapy on both occasions but never really got any guidance on how to prevent future dislocations. When I contacted Rachel JAKUBOWSKI for the first time, I explained this to her and she told me that she could work with my son long term, specifically with a goal of avoiding future dislocations.
  
  When we met with Rachel, she was very professional and thorough. She quickly assessed and educated us about shoulder dislocations as well as the risk of returning to play too soon. She also worked to develop a plan with my son to stabilize the shoulder. The caliber of her work far exceeds any physical therapist and orthopedist we had seen thus far.
  
  After a couple of months working with Rachel, my son is fully healed and his shoulder is strong. He will be able to be on the weightlifting team this year at school; something he could not do last year. The best thing we got from Rachel is a solid recovery plan to prevent future injuries. Granted there’s no guarantee, especially with a contact sport like football, but the ongoing prevention plan is definitely where other rehab centers have fallen short.
  
  We are extremely grateful for Rachel’s expertise with sports injuries and are comforted by the fact that should he get injured again, we have an outstanding therapist that can help him heal and return to playing safely and as quickly as possible.

  I am a runner and when I found Rachel I was 7-8 weeks out from my first marathon - the 2021 NYC Marathon. I was experiencing quad pain which was preventing me from training and getting my long runs in. With Rachel’s help, I was I able to focus on some weakness and alignment issues in my hips and glutes that were identified from her first assessment. She helped guide me in the direction of specific exercises to complete on my own as well as workouts that will help keep me injury free in the future. I finished my first marathon and finished faster than my goal time and without pain thanks to Rachel!! I would recommend her any day to my friends, family, and total strangers. She helped get me to where I needed to be to be successful on race day. She is truly the best out there!!
