St Augustine VA Clinic

This new facility is beautiful but some poor planing went into helping the extreemly overworked Doctors and staff. I really hope the executives sit down with them and allow them to voice their concerns such as doctors having a place of privacy in which they can talk to their patients on the phone and that they don't have to drag around their computers into each room to see patients. I have seen in general an inordinate amount of staff turn over though the past 3 years. I don't understand why at least an xRay machine is not available to the staff. Be a good idea if they can hirer someone to climb a ladder to change the time on the clocks. :) . Getting cut off the phone after spending 45 minutes on wait is a common problem though out the V.A. system so I won't complain about that. I have the greatest Dr. ever. She rocks!

This new VA clinic is now one year old. This facility is so much better than the last one which was portable. The doctors here have always been courteous and helpful. Physical therapy department although small, is excellent. I can't say enough about my primary care provider. She is the best!

Going to this VA Clinic is my first experience with VA Medical benefits. But in this short time, I have been severely impressed with the productivity, enthusiasm, and professionalism of all the personnel. They actually seemed concerned that I get the full benefits they had to offer. My doctor thanked me for my service and for fighting to get her the freedoms she now enjoys. She was from Pakistan, and knows what it is like to live without any freedoms. I am also impressed with their follow-up care. Great job, VA guys. I will continue coming.
