Dr. Barbara McDougall

*Update to orginal review*: Both of my children's reports by Dr. McDougall have been requested to be provided for several different further evaluations (i.e. DCPS, EFMP/insurance and various therapies) and have been highly regarded and remarked as being very detailed and thorough!

Highly recommend Dr. Barb!!! She explained the entire evaluation for my son to me in a way I could understand throughout. She was very understanding and kind to my son even went as far as soothing him during his evaluation at his request. Her turn around time was phenomenal for reports and she was very quick (same day) to help me with adjustments to paperwork I needed. Denise at the front desk was also great with communicating, and although the initial wait list for the appointment was a bit long (typical in this field, I was willing to wait for quality) both of my son's appointments were able to be moved to a sooner date and they were seen within just a few weeks. I could not have asked for better experience overall!!

Dr. Barb has been amazing working with us and our grandson. Everything has been extremely professional and working towards a positive outcome. All of our interaction with her office has been very positive. Can't thank you enough Dr. Barb and Denise. Highly recommend.

Dr. Barb has provided such compassionate care/services for my daughter. My daughter has had two evaluations by her: one when she was in elementary school, and another one again when she became a teenager. Both were handled with such encouragement and professionalism. Denise was fantastic with communication and helping me obtain older records, and both ladies were loving toward my daughter.

Know that the quality of care you have been providing over the years has helped give my daughter confidence in herself and her abilities. She will be graduating high school next month at 16 years old, and in May will be starting a trade school program to become a cosmetologist. She hopes to own her own business one day :) Thank you for helping us better understand her learning/living style so that she can flourish and live her best life!

We have been utilizing this office for many years now. The receptionist is always on top of things. She’s hospitable and accommodating when you’re there and my daughter loves her. Dr. McDougall, has helped our family beyond measure in diagnosing, and strategizing a game plan for our family to move forward. She’s extremely efficient and at the same time very compassionate.They work great with other doctors as well. I cannot say enough about this office.

Mrs. Denise and Dr. McDougall are great. They both greeted my family with warm friendly smiles. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Mrs. Denise is the friendliest person I have ever met. She was engaging with my Daughter and very accommodating. I have had no problems with getting an appointment. We actually were called for an earlier appointment due to a cancellation which was extremely helpful for my schedule. I’m very impressed with this office.
