Great tour full of history and a knowledgeable host!

We had a great afternoon on the water with Captain John. We chose the historical tour and got up close to some great sights and wildlife as well. We found a groupon so it was also a good deal!

Throw in some dolphin sightings. other birds and wildlife and it was great way to spend 90 minutes in St. Augustine.

Fabulous experience with Captain John! He is very professional and has expert grasp of the area. He was our private tour guide!! His knowledge was validated when we took city tours the next day and those tour guides reiterated everything John spoke, but with less enthusiasm, frankly. And what an amazing experience seeing the sites of St. Augustine in an intimate setting with my family from such a unique vantage point......right from the water!! As if the sites werent exciting enough, we observed dolphins (though not promised) on multiple occasions! At one point, they were so close to the boat, it felt like they were within arms reach! He was respectful of the animals and accomodated to our excitement by slowing down and even stopping for some time so we could observe and take photos of the dolphins. Some over the top service behaviors included asking us what Pandora station we wanted to listen to, what sites we had the most interest in and ensuring we saw those landmarks. He even (surprisingly) provided a blanket as it was a smidge chilly on our tour. It is well worth the money and I highly, highly recommend!! When our next visit rolls around, we certainly will be calling him again. His tour was the absolute highlight of our vacation!!

Outstanding! John was very accommodating of our schedule and last minute booking. We have two young boys who enjoyed John's entertaining and knowledgeable tour of the St. Augustine city and lighthouse by boat. He also made sure to take pictures of us at the various sites around the city. Perfect private boat ride for the whole family. Thanks John for an amazing afternoon.

Thank you, Captain John, for the lovely afternoon water tour of St. Augustine up to Hospital Creek and into Salt Run. The pontoon boat was very comfortable for our party of four and would easily have accommodated six people (next time). I really appreciated your knowledge of both Saint Augustine history and all the wildlife we enjoyed seeing, as well as your relaxed and skillful handling of the boat. What a treat to experience the water’s view perspective of our lovely town. And, there’s nothing better than floating amidst a school of feeding dolphins in the sparkling Florida sunshine! Fantastic! Thanks, I’ll look forward to sharing this experience again when I have out of town visitors.

What an amazing ride. Our Captain John was very friendly, informative and not in a rush. This was our first time taking a private tour with just our group, we loved every minute of it and will definitely do this again for ourselves and when we have company. We saw so much, birds, dolphins, pirate show, everything and some. Captain John really knew his area's history and took the time to explain and keep our 8 year old interested. We took this tour because 4 in our group were elderly and disabled. It was perfect. Thank you for a good time Captain John.
