(September 25, 2019, 7:26 am)We live in Deland and drive by many other vets to go see Dr. L’Amie. She has been a great healer for our Furry Family Member, even when he was having trouble walking. Kim is also very caring and compassionate.
Both traditional and non traditional medicine are practiced here with the utmost compassion. Ocean’s Edge Veterinary is worth the drive for us. -

(May 23, 2018, 7:08 pm)We adopted a 2 year old lab about 3 years ago. We took him to our traditional vet and found out he had heart worms. I began searching for alternative treatments with a holistic approach. I found Dr L'Amie online and brought Buddy in to see her. She was very kind and informative. and gave me a holistic treatment that I administered to him at home. Buddy changed almost instantly. He stopped panting after walking up a flight of stairs and began to act like a 2 year old dog! He willingly took the medicine, too! We tested him a few months later and he still had the antibodies. My husband is not a "believer" in muscle testing and many of the alternative treatments, so he wasn't convinced that the treatment worked due to the positive antibodies despite his overall health improvement. However, we just took him to the vet that is near our home and he was tested for heart worms. The test came back negative!!! We are believers and we are so grateful to Dr L'Amie and her staff for providing us with a safe and affordable treatment that worked. Buddy is a happy and healthy 5 year old lab that loves to swim and run. Everyday is the best day of his life
