  Such a great scene by the springs and have some good homemade breakfast, that you make yourself!! Then once you are finished eating you can take a dip in the cool refreshing spring or rent a kayak and explore the wonderful wonders of De Leon Springs! I would rate higher but I'm limited to 5/5, if it was my choice it would be 10/5 and that's just The Old Spanish Sugar Mill, not even the springs!!

  We love love love The sugar mill! The pancakes are delicious and making them yourself is tons of fun. The staff is always nice. For $5.25 you get an unlimited amount of pancake batter in plain and 5 grain flavors, butter and syrup, toppings and meats are $1.95 each. The wait at peak times (weekends, holidays) can be up to 2 hours but you can hang out in the park while you wait, or go early in the day on a weekday during school and have zero wait. When you are done and hot from all that cooking, jump into the beautiful clear spring that is a refreshing 72 degrees year round. This is one of my favorite places to go in central Florida.

  Excellent service and very tasty food! The all you can eat pancakes are really high quality and I love that you cook your own too! A very nice value and in an absolutely lovely local in the park.
  
  The nearby springs can keep you entertained as you wait, and there will be a wait, but they have a great outdoor loudspeaker and even offer boat tours that will hold your place in line.
  
  Excellent, thick cut bacon and very tasty sausage. I loved the raw honey on the pancakes. They have this amazing five grain pancake batter and a rustic white. I was making hearts with the two in my pancakes.
  
  It is $6 to get in the park but it's a great park to visit. There is an 18% gratuity which I gladly pay, well worth it.
  
  If in the area, go here, a great place to eat and enjoy the day!

  Excellent place for family gatherings. It is actually fun to make your own pancakes. Especially with your friends and family. Basic mix is the best for me. Healthy would be the five grain mix. We order extra bananas and chocolate chips. Six of us finished both containers. Very fun atmosphere. Get ready to wait to get in, though. If you get on the waiting list and go on the eco tour. They hold your place in line. Make sure you listen for your name and party over the loudspeaker. Small place but well worth the wait.

  I just can't visit this place often enough. The springs is so refreshing and there's always a breeze coming across the water. Our family usually stays till closing. sugar Mill restaurant offers the best darn pancakes would you cook yourself at the table, great experience for anyone visiting the area, but it's a pretty well kept secret among those of us who have lived here for quite a long time. I can get quite crowded on the weekends when school is out so arrive early to enjoy this gem.
