My father was suffering from a "hernia" and was referred to Dr. Kollmer. When we arrived he was brought right in for x-rays and within thirty minutes was strapped to a bed being hauled over to the hospital. It turns out for the past six months my father had been suffering with about nine disks crushed in his spine.

The following morning Dr. Kollmer and Dr. Taub opened him up and explained that the damage to his spine was so severe that there was slim chance he'd make it out of surgery, let alone walk again. About ten hours later my father was in ICU. Over the next nine months we worked with him and Dr. Kollmer worked with him and gradually my father began to walk.

If it hadn't have been for the skilled hands of Dr. Kollmer and Dr. Taub my Mother would have been a widow and my sisters and I wouldn't have the rest of our lives with our father. He's wonderful!! He is truly a one of a kind specialist!!
