Beautiful beach!! Dont know why I didn't decide to visit sooner. Love the long ramp down to the beach (handicap ramp) with option of stairs as well. Not a lot of room for parking, so get here early on the weekends!!

Beautiful!!! Clean beach, park was great with some neat history. Great for all ages and if you're into seashells, there are lots of them! Sunrises are always magical.

Tranquil ,clean, soft sand public beach .Plenty space for everyone. Has two parking lots. It would be one of my favorite spots to return, EXCEPT that New Smyrna is No.1 place in the world on ???? bites and I love be in the water,????

Clean. Picked up some people's trash tho. I don't see them separate the recycling from the trash which is irritating. Especially being by the sea. Great spot. Parking nearby. Bathrooms nearby. Shops nearby. Vegan food nearby. People say be careful of sharks, but I've seen none and I've been here a week.

Very nice little oceanfront park, originally built by African Americans during the segregation era as a vacation spot for African Americans. A plaque commemorates the founders and tells a little about the history and historical significance. The park is owned by state/local government which keeps it modernized and well-maintained. An interesting feature of the beaches in this area is that you can drive your car up and down the beach (slowly, and for a fee - $20, I think)
