Team Octopus Fitness Cartersville

I've been training here since July and I've haven't felt this good since my early 20's. Coach Jon, Coach Lee and Coach Victoria make each of their kickboxing classes fun and instructive. Even though I'm winded at the end, I always look forward to the next class. That's a feeling I've never had about fitness and I appreciate that I feel that way now.

I enrolled my daughter in kids BJJ and she loves it. I look forward to a long future here. I highly recommend.

Update: I began my journey in July weighing 255 lbs. As of today, Nov 18, I weigh in at 228 lbs., having dropped 27 lbs. I'm well on my way to reaching my minimum goal of getting down to 200 lbs. I feel like a million bucks!

I have been struggling with my fitness for years . My son suggested we try team Octopus . As soon as we walked in , we were treated like family . I took the challenge and lost 22lbs . I since the challenge joined and became a member and I'm now down 32lbs , and I'm still going . All the staff wants to see all there members succeed, and are so helpful in answering any questions ,whether it be about food , exercises , soreness in muscles. Meal plans . You will definitely not regret joining this gym .

This is an absolutely amazing place to train. The instruction is top notch, but even more importantly the people are some of the best you will ever train with. Chip and Dusty have created a true family culture in this gym. I have trained here along with my family for almost 18 months now, and I cannot imagine calling any other gym home.

My son has been a student at Coffey for over a year. The instructors are engaging and energetic; but also demanding and incredibly intelligent about their sport. They can break the different movements down and transfer that knowledge on to the little ones- at their pace. Not only are the "little gorillas" encouraged to roll and train hard, they are taught how to apply solid BJJ character traits at home and at school. Their performance inside and outside of the academy is reviewed by their instructor before every belt promotion is given.
This is just a solid academy for adults and kids alike. No egos. No cocky attitudes. Everyone has a "learning attitude"- no matter their rank... you'll work your tail off, and get results.

I started coming here 7 weeks after giving birth to my son. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and I had a great time. Over a year later, I'm still making it in weekly and having more fun than ever! I'm in good shape too! Great people and wonderful instructors, with a good workout for any fitness level.
