Vanessa Charlotte Womack, MD

Dr Womack has been right on with treating my needs and illnesses. She understanding in most of my medical needs and if she had an off day, don't we all? Reading those reviews from some patients were very disturbing especially the ones that added pictures for advertising ... Shame on you.
I believe in my heart that she has very much compassion and understanding with her patients. She is a caring mother and gives that same concern to her patients...

I am new to Marietta, GA and I did not have a primary care physician...until now. I saw Dr. Womack this morning about an issue for which I have been putting off for about six months. Bottom line, I received excellent care and a warm reception from the time I walked into the office through the end of the appointment. As ole Arnold Schwarznegger says, " I WILL BE BACK", for my yearly physical and any other issues which may arise in the future. In addition, I am referring Dr. Womack to my wife to be her provider as well.

Dr. Womack is an exceptional physician. She correctly diagnosed my wife with Lyme Disease after we had visited specialists (including the Mayo Clinic) around the country seeking answers and getting misdiagnosed with Sjogren's and Fibromyalgia. And this was during my wife's first visit to see Dr. Womack as her new Primary Care Physician. Dr. Womack is attentive and caring. She is also mindful of over-medicating, which I very much appreciate. So many doctor's seem to want to write a prescription and move on to the next patient. Dr. Womack provides personalized care and takes an interest in the overall health and well-being of my wife. We are lucky to have Dr. Womack as my wife's PCP.

Needing to find a new primary physician, and insisting on an Internist, I was lucky to find Dr. Womack taking new patients. I am not sure why some of the other reviews called this highly professional, bright, and efficient physican anything but great. Having been previously married to a physician and knowing what to look for, I had a very specific requirements in finding a qualified primary care doctor. With that said, she practices medicine without over testing (costly)or over prescibing meds such as antibiotics (against best practices) when it's viral (standard of care), pain meds for common aches and pains. I have RA and I have stayed away from the opiates for the last 20 yrs. I believe Womack is doing her best to actually follow the CDC's/studies/literature's recommendations in her daily practice. If you're looking for someone who is bright, articulate, and competent look no further!
